Times NIE Newsmakers Meet

Times NIE News Makers Meet in association with Manipal Hospital Pvt Ltd was conducted on 17 August 2023 at the prestigious Rashtriya Military School for the budding journalists of Classes 7 and 8. Students interacted with the chief guest and actively discussed the topic, 'Mindful Eating and Active Living'. They pledged to limit the consumption of junk and processed food. Six important elements involved in writing reports were explained. This event offered a unique opportunity for student reporters to discuss civic issues and engage productively with The Times of India's editorial team. They also took part in a mock press conference on teen mental health. Overall, it was a great exposure for the participants.
