Sorting of Fruits and vegetables

Sorting activity is vital for cognitive development, helping children discover similarities and differences. Using pictures of fruits and vegetables, a sorting game was introduced to Nursery students. The key distinction was that fruits can be eaten after a simple wash, while vegetables usually require cooking. A pan for vegetables and a basket for fruits were provided. Students identified each picture and placed it in the appropriate container. Fruits went into the basket and vegetables into the pan. This hands-on activity was both educational and entertaining.
