8E Class Assembly – Stay true in the dark and humble in the spotlight

The students of 8E performed an assembly on the topic” Stay true in the dark and humble in the spotlight”

The spirit of sportsmanship by Sir Courtney Walsh in the 1987 world cup were zealously enacted by the students which resonated the quote, “For when the one scorer comes to mark against your name, He writes not that you won or lost, but how you played the game!” Dr.Katlin Kariko's passion for science as a child, her story of struggle in research and never give up attitude that fetched her the Nobel prize was inspiringly summed up by students. The assembly ended with a dance choreographed and performed by the girls of 8E as a tribute to the musical maestro Mr.AR Rahman, who is an embodiment of humility and simplicity. The audience appreciated the cricket enactment, enjoyed the music and the show put up by the students.
