Swachhta Pakhwada

Swachhta Pakhwada, also known as Cleanliness Fortnight, was observed by National Public School Whitefield in the month of September with the aim of promoting cleanliness and hygiene among students and staff.

Various activities like Designing a Graphic Strip, Poster Making, Slogan Writing and Poem recitation on ‘Cleanliness and Hygiene Practices’ were conducted across classes which helped the students realize the importance of cleanliness and sanitation. All the activities conducted by the school, enabled to take this mission of Cleanliness to the community, thereby creating mass awareness. Cleanliness drive was carried out within the campus to inculcate a sense of cleanliness and dignity of labour. On-field experience was helpful in sensitizing the students towards the management of single use plastic and eventually replacing it with sustainable options.

Swachhta Pakhwada was a resounding success at our school. It not only helped in promoting cleanliness and hygiene but also instilled a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness among our students. Everyone at the campus took a pledge to remain committed to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and will continue to take proactive measures to maintain a clean and green environment.
