Fire Safety Awareness Drill

A Fire Safety Awareness Drill was organised for students of Classes 5 to 9 in collaboration with the Fire Safety Department, ITPL Whitefield. The session commenced with an informative talk explaining the fire triangle — heat, fuel, and oxygen — and how removing any one of these elements can stop a fire.

The officers highlighted common causes of fire, appropriate emergency responses, and the importance of remaining calm and alert during an incident. A live demonstration followed, where a controlled LPG gas fire was ignited, and students observed the officers extinguishing the flames using natural materials and water hoses.

The drill proved to be a valuable learning experience, reinforcing fire safety awareness and practical response skills. The school expressed its sincere gratitude to the local fire department for their guidance and support.
