9B - Emotional Intelligence
The morning assembly conducted by Grade 9B commenced with a warm welcome, followed by the school prayer, creating a serene and positive atmosphere. Centred around the thought-provoking theme of "Emotional Intelligence," the students presented a well-orchestrated and inspiring programme that captivated the audience.
The highlight of the assembly was a compelling skit titled "Participation is Equal to Winning." The performance revolved around Nihal, a student disheartened after not winning a competition, and his meaningful conversations with his friends and aunt. Through engaging storytelling and confident performances, the skit beautifully conveyed that true success lies not merely in victory, but in the courage to participate, the determination to persevere, and the invaluable lessons gained through every experience. The thought-provoking presentation resonated deeply with both students and teachers.
Adding a vibrant and uplifting touch to the programme, the choir presented a soulful rendition of "I Ain't Worried," filling the assembly with energy and optimism.
The assembly concluded with a heartfelt reflection on the day's message—that emotional intelligence empowers us to recognise, understand, manage, and channel our emotions in positive and constructive ways. As the students dispersed, they carried with them a renewed sense of confidence and the inspiring reminder that every challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow, and emerge stronger.
