CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27
National Public School Whitefield, successfully hosted the School Level Round of the CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026–27 on August 5, 2026 for Category I (Classes 6-8). Aligned with CBSE's initiative to promote nutritional awareness, food safety, and experiential learning, students competed individually in a 60-minute Non-Fire Cooking event. Participants showcased exceptional creativity, preparing healthy salads, sandwiches, and canapés. Organised with support from the Health and Wellness Team, the championship highlighted student innovation, hygiene, and presentation, successfully encouraging culinary arts as a vital life skill and potential career pathway.
